General Terms and Conditions of Norella.

Clear agreements on booking, payment, cancellation and liability for photobooth rental at Norella Events.

Article 1 – Definitions

  1. 1Norella: Norella, established in Hengelo, Chamber of Commerce number 87230062.
  2. 2Client: the party (consumer or business) that enters into an agreement with Norella.
  3. 3Parties: Norella and Client collectively.
  4. 4Consumer: a Client acting as a natural person, not on behalf of a business or organisation.

Article 2 – Applicability

  1. 1These terms apply to all quotes, offers, work, bookings and agreements by or on behalf of Norella.
  2. 2Deviations are only valid when agreed in writing.
  3. 3General terms and conditions of the Client are excluded.

Article 3 – Quotes and bookings

  1. 1All quotes are without obligation, unless stated otherwise.
  2. 2Quotes are valid for 14 days.
  3. 3A booking is only confirmed after payment of the deposit of €50.
  4. 4Norella may withdraw a non-binding quote within 3 days of acceptance.

Article 4 – Prices

  1. 1All prices are in euros, excluding VAT, unless stated otherwise.
  2. 2Travel costs outside 30 km from Hengelo: €0.35 per km. Parking costs above €10 are at the Client's expense.
  3. 3Norella reserves the right to implement annual price changes.

Article 5 – Payments

  1. 1The deposit of €50 must be paid within 7 days of booking.
  2. 2The remaining amount must be paid no later than 14 days after the event.
  3. 3In case of late payment, the Client is automatically in default; interest and collection costs will be charged.

Article 6 – Delivery, set-up and breakdown

  1. 1Norella handles delivery, set-up and breakdown at the agreed location and time.
  2. 2The Client must ensure sufficient space, a flat surface and a power supply (230V).
  3. 3If the venue is accessible later or waiting time arises due to the Client, additional time may be charged.

Article 7 – Use of the Photobooth

  1. 1The Client is responsible for correct and safe use of the photobooth, props and backdrops.
  2. 2Damage or theft caused by the Client or guests will be fully charged.
  3. 3The photobooth may not be moved without Norella's permission.

Article 8 – Photos and visual material

  1. 1Photos taken with the photobooth will be made available to the Client and their guests.
  2. 2Norella reserves the right to use (a selection of) photos and visual material for promotional purposes, such as on the website, social media and print.
  3. 3If the Client or their guests do not wish this, it must be communicated in writing in advance.
  4. 4Norella handles the privacy of attendees with care and will not use photos that could be harmful or inappropriate.

Article 9 – Cancellation

  1. 1Cancellation must be made in writing.
  2. 2Up to 30 days before the event: only the deposit will be retained.
  3. 3Within 30 days before the event: 50% of the total amount is due.
  4. 4Within 7 days before the event: the full amount is due.
  5. 5In case of force majeure, Norella may cancel; amounts already paid will be refunded.

Article 10 – Liability

  1. 1Norella is not liable for indirect damages such as consequential loss, loss of profits or damage to third parties.
  2. 2Norella's liability is limited to the invoice amount of the relevant booking.
  3. 3Deviations in colour or quality of prints or photos do not give the right to compensation.

Article 11 – Force majeure

  1. 1Force majeure includes power outages, illness, extreme weather conditions, transport problems or technical defects.
  2. 2In the event of force majeure, performance will be suspended, or the agreement may be dissolved.
  3. 3In case of dissolution due to force majeure, Norella is not obliged to pay compensation.

Article 12 – Amendments to the agreement

  1. 1Changes to the date, location or duration of the booking are only valid after written confirmation by Norella.
  2. 2Additional costs arising from this will be charged to the Client.

Article 13 – Use by third parties

  1. 1The Client may not sublet or transfer the photobooth to third parties without Norella's permission.

Article 14 – Complaints

  1. 1Complaints must be reported in writing within 14 days after the event.
  2. 2Norella will handle complaints reasonably.

Article 15 – Applicable law

  1. 1Dutch law applies to all agreements.
  2. 2Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Norella is established.
